Tackling Drills from a site that I use for my own training. Very good article on basic tackling drills and fundamentals from a fellow football coach. There are also some very good alternative training methods that can be adapted for kids.

www.gamespeed.biz

Great website on speed and physical conditioning. It is based on Renegade Training by John Davies. I am a big Renegade fan and use it in my own youth development training programs. Lot of good quality field tested material.

I have all three of his books and his training methods are top notch and they can be trimmed and toned down for kids very easily. He is a great trainer. By reducing the plyometric aspects and volume a lot of this can be easily adapted to kids.

www.undergroundstrengthcoach.com

This is an awesome website on combat conditioning, body weight training, and various other methods. Not for the faint of heart! There are aspects of it that can toned down and adapted for kids and football.  Remember football is a combat sport!

www.gymjones.com

Great website on physical conditioning and training I use a lot of the methods they teach. These are the guys that trained the men ofr the movie “300”.
